Just when you thought this “historic” primary season couldn’t get any more bizarre or laughable, Hillary delivers another zinger, demonstrating her “win at any cost,” approach, and proving the candidates would rather play verbal tennis over non-issues than address the important topics of the day, namely, how quickly we are going broke, and the mounting terror threat. Better of course to conjure illusions and play smoke and mirrors, instill
fear, and provoke division.

From COMCAST News comes this story:

Clinton draws rebuke over RFK assassination remark

Hillary Clinton mentioned the June 1968 assassination of Robert Kennedy in explaining on Friday why she had resisted calls to end her White House bid, drawing a rebuke from Democratic front-runner Barack Obama’s campaign.

Clinton, who later apologized, made the remark about Kennedy to the editorial board of the Sioux Falls Argus Leader newspaper when explaining that other races for the Democratic presidential nomination had lasted into June.

“My husband did not wrap up the nomination in 1992 until he won the California primary somewhere in the middle of June, right? We all remember Bobby Kennedy was assassinated in June in California,” she said.

“I don’t understand it,” Clinton said, referring to calls for her to pull out of the Democratic nominating race, which ends on June 3 with primaries in South Dakota and Montana….

Here’s a video of Hillary’s remarks:

And, here’s a little more smoke and mirrors from the Democratic party — Rep. Kanjorski admits the Democrats Over-Promised on Iraq:

Rep. Kanjorski: “That if we won the Congressional elections, we could stop the war. Now anybody was a good student of Government would know that wasn’t true. But you know, the temptation to want to win back the Congress, we sort of stretched the facts…and people ate it up.”

Here’s the video of that memorable remark:

You see, folks, they truly think we are a bunch of dumb bunnies willing to lap up whatever lies they fling on to the sidewalk. And the reason they do it, is because we keep lapping.

Are we gonna fall for it again in November?
