Look, we get it. The Left is all undone because McCain beat them at their own game. A very bright, charismatic, accomplished conservative woman is in the limelight instead of Hillary. Palin steals Obama’s thunder. Palin limits the traditional post-convention bounce. Obama is no longer viewed as a shoe-in. We get it, your vision quest to utopia is threatened and you are distraught, approaching breakdown.

We must make provision for national grief counseling should McCain/Palin win in November. We get it. You guys and gals on the Left are going crazy.

Traditionally, when Leftists get beat fair and square, they go nuts, take off the gloves, and sling any piece of mud they can get their hands on, even to the point of saying Palin is not Trig’s mother, but his grandmother.

Jeez.

Yesterday, with the news of Sarah Louise Heath Palin inexplicably being chosen as a Vice-Presidential nominee, the attentive American public was also introduced to her character. Unfortunately for all of us, it was filled with multiple instances of backtracking and outright lies. While Alaskans had been giving her an 80% approval rating, recently 87% of Alaskans polled on the subject of TrooperGate believed she was lying. Now, I’ve known liars in my life. Their single core problem is not with themselves, but those around them. If they’re never called out on their twisting of truths and fabrications, they simply continue to make larger lies. Well, Sarah, I’m calling you a liar. And not even a good one. Trig Paxson Van Palin is not your son. He is your grandson. The sooner you come forward with this revelation to the public, the better.

Michelle Malkin responds:

The diarist is arguing with his/her fellow tinfoilers about whether Palin is wearing a “fake pregnancy suit” and commenters are still insisting that Palin’s daughter was showing and the governor was not. And in an update, the diarist — no doubt feeling pressure from the paranoid zealots in the cesspool — is polling readers on whether the post should be deleted. Nearly 30 percent of readers think the post attempting to debunk the rumor should be deleted.

Truly, truly unhinged.

A picture refutes a thousand nutcase conspiracies

I’d like to share a picture of Governor Sarah Palin’s lovely young family, a photo that some may have already seen in connection to a despicable Internet smear against the Palins. Here we have Sarah and Todd with their daughters Piper, Willow, and Bristol. A few bloggers have pointed to the curve of Bristol’s stomach, rather typical for teens, as proof that it was she who gave birth to Trig Palin in April 2008, and not Governor Palin.

Here’s the caption from the Anchorage Daily News — Sarah Palin at home with her family in Wasilla, Alaska in 2006.

Either the Palin women have a record gestational period, or this proves that Bristol’s small amount of “baby fat” has nothing to do with an actual baby. She’s a normal young teenage girl, not the center of a grand conspiracy to hide some deep, dark family secret — the type of which stopped being deep and dark a few decades ago.

Now Daily Kos admits they look stupid publishing this rumor, this outright lie, admitting, at least in this instance, Daily Kos is an enormous fraud.

Flogging this rumor in light of what seems to be pretty solid counter-evidence is just squandering whatever credibility we have. In the words of Janor Hypercleats, ‘They’s laughin’ at you, boy.’ There is so much more that we could be highlighting regarding Palin; we don’t want that to be tarred with ‘from the same people who smeared Palin’s teenage daughter…

Too late Daily Kos.

You already smeared both Palin and her daughter, and you did it on the back of a disabled infant.

You lost credibility long ago.

You sailed right past discrediting yourselves to the land of utter contempt and corruption.

Notice that The Red Pen isn’t concerned about truth, accuracy or fairness, only their credibility, only how they play in the public eye.

Time for Daily Kos to join Dan Rather, Paul Begala, Ed Schultz (“McCain is a warmonger!”), Bill Clinton, Michael Moore and many other Dem leaders on the liars hit parade to the ash heap of history.
