A few months ago, we posted this: Have you heard any Dems contradict VP Cheney?
The Dems are poll readers. Back in the 9-11 days, the Dems read polls and concluded that it was in their “political interest” to support Bush and Cheney.
Yesterday, we found this in The Washington Post:
Intelligence officials released documents this evening saying that House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.) was briefed in September 2002 about the use of harsh interrogation tactics against al-Qaeda prisoners, seemingly contradicting her repeated statements over the past 18 months that she was never told that these techniques were actually being used.

ABC News has a similar story: Intelligence Report: Pelosi Briefed on Use of Interrogation Tactics in Sept. ’02
What can we conclude? Let’s look at a some possibilities:
- Nancy Pelosi was distracted on September 2002. She was present but her mind was elsewhere;
- Nancy Pelosi has a bad memory;
- Nancy Pelosi is a poll-reader; and,
- Nancy Pelosi lied.
My money is (c) and (d).
Who is going to apologize to VP Cheney? It looks like he is the only one telling the truth in this narrative.
