Action Alert: Stop Amnesty For Illegal Immigrants

The weekend of March 19 through 21 will see massive demonstrations by illegal immigrants and their supporters in favor of amnesty. Thousands of demonstrators will be bussed into Washington DC from all over the country.

NumbersUSA, a national anti-illegal immigration group, is organizing a four day event named “STOP AMNESTY” which will coincide with the pro-illegal immigration events in Washington DC. As part of “STOP AMNESTY” anti-immigration activists all over the country will VISIT THEIR CONGRESSMAN’S LOCAL DISTRICT OFFICE TO EXPRESS OPPOSITION TO AMNESTY. In order to make the most powerful statement possible, we are hoping that all these visits occur at the same time on Friday, March 19, at 1:30 pm.

I plan to visit my Congressman, Steve Rothman, tomorrow, Friday, March 19 at 1:30 pm at his office at 25 Main St., Hackensack. I will bring my letter expressing my opposition to amnesty for illegal immigrants. You can see the letter below.

Here are some suggestions:

1. Talk to your family and friends to get a group together to visit your Congressman in his district office.
2. Write a letter to your congressman expressing your opposition to amnesty. Ask everyone in your group to write a similar letter and sign it. Then give the letters to your congressman or his staffer at the time of the visit. A sample letter that I wrote is below.
3. If you of your group has a video recorder or a cell phone, ask him to record or take photos of the visit. We can send them to NumbersUSA and they will distribute the photos to the media via their internet links.
4. If you feel comfortable with it, publicize your visit in advance using social media such as Facebook, Twitter, MySpace, or Resistnet. You can create an event on Facebook and invite all your Facebook friends to meet you at your congressman’s office. Use your imagination to get a big crowd out!

SAMPLE LETTER TO YOUR CONGRESSMAN:

Dear Congressman________;

I am writing you to express my opposition to any legislation regarding immigration reform which would include amnesty for illegal immigrants.

Amnesty was included in immigration reform legislation in the 1980s under Pres. Reagan and was supposed to solve the problem of illegal immigration. At that time we had approximately 3 million illegal immigrants in the US. Now that over a decade has passed since that “reform” we have 12 to 20 million illegal immigrants. Obviously, rewarding illegal immigrants with US citizenship does not solve the problem of illegal immigration; in fact, it only worsens it by providing more inducements to non-US citizens to come here with the hope of eventually getting amnesty.

Our national unemployment rate is at an extremely high rate with approximately 15 million Americans out of work. At the same time we have 12 to 20 illegal immigrants here competing for those jobs which are available. By encouraging illegal immigrants to return to their home countries we would be opening up more job opportunities to American citizens.

We can encourage illegal immigrants to return to their home countries as follows:

1. I support implementation of E-verify, a system which allows employers to check a national data base and ensure that any prospective employee has a valid social security number. Penalties could then be attached to employers who knowingly hire illegal immigrants.
2. I support implementation of Program 287(g), a program run by the Division of Immigration and Customs Enforcement of the US Dept. of Homeland Security. Program 287(g) allows local law enforcement for cooperate with federal authorities in enforcing federal immigration law.

I am aware that there are demonstrations in Washington scheduled for the weekend of March 20 and 21 in support of amnesty for illegal immigrants. I would point out to you that many of these demonstrators are illegal immigrants and, therefore, do not vote, whereas the vast majority of American citizens, who do vote, are, according to most polls, very much opposed to granting amnesty to illegal immigrants.

   I also do not believe that amnesty or path to citizenship will solve the problem of illegal immigration in America, actually it would be just like putting gasoline to a fire!
   An amnesty will not be fair to Americans! Our President and congress hasn’t yet solve all the wrongdoings of illegal immigrants, instead they cater to all the wrongdoings of illegal immigrants in America! They continue to say what else can we do, we can not send 12-40 million illegal aliens home, This is their excuse to smooth the surface, to just give illegal immigrants amnesty over Americans heads regardless of the welfare of their own Americans.

   American politicians has allow illegal immigration in America get to far out of hand, by just catering to illegal immigration in America, when all they needed to do were to just push immigration enforcement that we already have, and stop interfering in our immigration enforcement laws, and stop allowing illegal immigration advocates from interfering in our immigration laws!

   This amnesty or path to citizenship to illegal immigrants, will just help illegal immigrants just take over America! it will just be catering to all their plans and plots, schemes, and scams of America, it will just be helping them defeat and conquer America as they had plan! The have been given such a wide open door to just about anything that they wanted in America on their illegal status, they are allow to just walk all over Americans and jump in the front line to just about anything in America, and leave Americans second in line! Americans are so sick and tired of feeling like second class citizens in their own country, they hate that their American status has been terribly tarnished by illegal immigration. because of the massive illegal immigrantion in America, Americans status does not mean anything any more.

   Our president and congress leaves our birthrights wide open to illegal immigrants, and they take fully advantage of this by having millions of their children born here get granted an automatic citizenship for their very own purpose,this is to help them selves to over populated in America, to keep them selves from deportations,help the get many government freebies, this all alone are their own sneaky Amnesty for their children born in America alone, it is their personal tokens, tickets, and of course anchore to keep them selves here in America!

   Americans are having competition in American employment with illegal immigrants now, and will continue to have competitions with them once they get amnesty or path to citizenship, they will always be first in line to everything Americans will continue to be second in line,they will never have no real respect for Americans.

   Our politicians pushed the E-Verify some employers, they really never pushed it to be mandatory to all American employers, and they never pushed it for all employees, because many employers are just using it for their newly hires only, and just decided to find a ways to just ignore their already hires, while many of their employees could be illegal immgrants, employed with false social security numbers, this it self defeat the purpose of the E-Verify, because this allows millions of illegal immigrants to remained employed in America while millions of Americans continue to be unemployed And now it is a sin and so un-American for workplace raids! illegal immigrants hav VIP in America this is why they are here, And this is why they stayed and never left!

   America does not need any more Amnesty or a path to citizenship, it is just to many illegal immigrants in America, America does not need an over population of illegal immigrants from Mexico, and Americans should not be force to endure in a Mexico in America, made up by illegal immigrants who come here and multiply them selves, and do not abide our laws! who are lawbreakers!

   Actually it not the illegal immigrants fault, it is our politicians, they could have stop this insanity of illegal immigrantion long ago, now that it is a big mess, they want to pass a stupid amnesty or a path to citizenship bill, and just going force Americans to endure in all of this mess..

   If any Amnesty or path to citizenship get passed, America will be doomed, it will no longer be America! What ever it may become, Americans will be terribly force to live in it..
